The available Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology, when combined with the available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, and Speed Sign Recognition features, allows the driver to operate their vehicle hands-free while being monitored by a driver-facing camera to ensure that their eyes are on the road. The F-150 hybrid has innovative technology that maximizes power and performance whether in electric mode, gas mode, or a combination of both. It's also Built Ford Tough, with a 3.5L PowerBoost full hybrid V6 engine that produces 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft. of torque, just like every other F-150. The Ford Hybrid PowerBoost V6 engine is very robust, combining gas and electric energy in a single powertrain to deliver maximum towing capacity. It's this kind of raw power that provides this engine a maximum towing capacity of 12,700 lbs., 430 horsepower, and 570 lb.-ft. of torque.

The 2022 F-150 truck has the best usable power on demand in its class thanks to Pro Power Onboard. Choose from three outputs: 2.0kW, 2.4kW, or the incredibly powerful 7.2kW to jump-start your job site or camping. Simply plug into the accessible outlets in the cab and box, then monitor and track the wattage using your SYNC 4 screen or FordPass App. An upgraded 10-speed automatic transmission is now standard on all F-150 engines. Three overdrive gears are included, as well as enhanced wide-span gear spacing and drag-reduction actions. The transmission is specially adapted to combine an integrated 33kW electric motor with the optional 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid engine.
