This September, our family of Stanley Ford dealerships is proud to take part in Ford Motor Company’s first-ever dealer-led Global Caring Month Food Drive. From September 15–25, 2025, our Ford locations will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit local food banks. Our goal? To help Ford reach its worldwide target of gathering more than one million pounds of food to fight hunger and support families in need. All About Regional Food Drive With Forgotten Harvest
The Stanley Auto Group initiative is part of Ford’s larger Regional Food Drive with Forgotten Harvest, a nationwide effort to unite local dealerships in the fight against hunger. While Forgotten Harvest serves families in Michigan, the campaign’s impact extends across the country as thousands of Ford dealers work with their own local food banks to provide meals where they’re needed most. This shared mission reflects the heart of Ford’s Global Caring Month: coming together as one community to make a lasting difference. By participating, our Stanley Ford dealerships in Texas are joining a movement that stretches from Southeast Michigan to communities nationwide, proving that together, we can drive change and bring hope to countless families.
How the Stanley Ford Dealerships Are Supporting Local Food Banks
Each of our participating Stanley Ford dealerships is partnering with a local food bank to ensure donations stay right here in our communities. Stanley Ford Gilmer is working with the East Texas Food Bank, Stanley Ford McGregor is partnering with the McGregor Food Pantry, Stanley Ford Sweetwater is teaming up with the Nolan County Welfare Office, and Stanley Ford Eastland is supporting the Eastland County Food Pantry. Every can, jar, or box of food donated at our dealerships will go directly to families in the area, providing comfort and relief where it’s needed most.
What to Donate and How to Participate
Getting involved is simple. Between September 15–25, bring non-perishable food items such as canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, soups, rice, or peanut butter to any of our participating Stanley Ford dealerships. Each store will have a Ford vehicle on-site ready to be filled with your donations. Whether you’re visiting us for service, shopping for a new car, or just stopping by to drop off food, your contribution will make a difference. Together, we can help stock the shelves of local food banks and ensure that families in Gilmer, McGregor, Sweetwater, Eastland, and beyond have access to nutritious meals.
